The stepper motor isn't fast enough and I don't have the power/money budget to push it there. My takeaway from this short journey into mechatronics is the human body is truly an amazing creation.

For Syracuse Maker Faire I programed my mechanical flip-digit display (AlfaZeta Flip Digit) to say "CODES" and a pattern around it to entice passersby. CODES Syracuse (Coalition of Digital Engagement in Syracuse) is a wonderful group that runs local meetups and mentoring programs in Syracuse NY.
